Using windows on macbook pro software#
(Can use cpu/ram intensive software without an issue, game decently, multitask effectively, do everything else that a laptop does). If I were, I would not consider the macbook pros. The instructions on Apples site (and here) dont detail the activation process at all.
Using windows on macbook pro windows 10#
How has your experience with Windows been on Mac if you use it?Īlso in general, have you experienced any quality control issues with owning your macbook pro?ĮDIT: I would not be using this just for gaming. Ive just gotten a brand new MacBook Pro 15' (mid 2015) - and have now set up a Boot Camp partition, and installed Windows 10 (using the no USB option - so easy) on it. use nomodeset) Alternatively, burning a CD and installing via an external CD-drive will work fine on the Macbook Air 3.

I have heard that using Windows on the macbook pro eats up a ton of battery and makes the machine only run on dedicated graphics so you can't switch to integrated for running windows. The only thing is I love Windows 10 and I love to play games, most of which only run on Windows and not Mac OS. I just want a machine that works and doesn't give me headache where I have to hope on a daily basis that there are no issues. On my third machine that I currently use, I have experienced screen flickering and battery issues). For my second machine I experienced overheating to the point of shutting off without warning, my screen cracked, and my touch screen stopped working. Using a MacBook Pro Charger on my Dell Is it completely safe to charge my Dell using the USB-C MacBook Pro charger I have for my 15 inch MacBook Pro (Yes, I own both a Dell and a Mac) Thanks 1 person had this problem. (Hard drive failure, and later backlight going out in the screen for my first machine rendering it unusable unless plugged into an external monitor. Consequently, every laptop I have owned (I have owned 3) has given me some issues at some point within the first months of owning. I have never owned a Mac before, just windows machines. I'm also in the apple ecosystem with iOS (iphone and ipad) so it makes sense to look into a Mac. Obviously Macs have fewer quality control issues, so that's why I might be looking at the Macbook Pro 15 for the future (Especially when they are upgraded). I considered the Surface Book 2 maybe to buy this year later, but it seems similar to the rest of the Surface line in terms of there being a lot of quality control issues. Currently I use a surface pro 4 but have been experiencing some issues (Screen flickering that happens every day, multiple times a day), and it is not enough of a "pro" machine for what I need it for.
